Quick Start: Session Settings

If the checkbox is checked, it means that feature is enabled.

  • Session Settings
    • Automatically continue sessions after reboot?
Sessions (usage of time or data credits) will resume after the machine reboots. Users won’t need to manually start the session from the captive portal.
    • Enable session cookies by default?
If you have multiple access points and a certain device transfers from one access point to another, the session will still be credited to that other access point. There is option to apply MAC Synchronizer to already registered users.
  • Online Status Checking
    • Check the machine's internet connectivity before letting users insert coins.
If the machine is offline, users will not be able to insert coins.
    • All active sessions will be automatically paused and no data or time is consumed from the credits once the internet is down.
    • Device session will automatically pause when inactive or disconnected from the ado WiFi.
    • Device session will automatically resume when reconnects to ado WiFi.
  • WiFi Users Limit
Set a specific number of users who can connect to your wifi vending machine at the same time.
  • Session Expiration and Pause Limits
This is where you can set the number of pause limits for a specific session, and set session expiration based on Time or Data credits.

Here is the default settings as an example:
    • Time
      Time Credits = 1h:0m:0s - 2h:0m:0s, Pause Limit = 10x, Expiration = (Sessions Time) + 1h:0m:0s
It means for Time Credits that’s within 1-2 hours, it has 10 allowed pauses. And if Time Credit is for example 2 hours, then the session expires in “3 hours”.
    • Data
      Data Credit = 1000MB - 2000MB, Pause Limit = 10x, Expiration = 1d:0h:0m:0s

For Data Credits that are within 1000MB-2000MB range, the number of pause limits is 10. For the expiration, you can set it with a specific duration, for example 1 day.
    • Time with Data Capping
      Credits = 1h:0m:0s - 2h:0m:0s or 1000MB - 2000MB, Pause Limit = Unlimited Pause,  Expiration = Sessions Time + 1h:0m:0s

For this setting, Data credits are consumable within the set time period. Based on the sample above, 1000MB - 2000MB is consumable within 1-2 hours (+ 1 hour).

If the Data Credits (1000-2000MB) is already fully consumed regardless if there is still remaining Time, the device will be disconnected from the Internet.

On the other hand, even if there are still unconsumed Data credits but have already exceeded the set time period,  the device will be disconnected from the internet.
