Default Bandwidth  Per Captive Portal User

• Upload and Download Speed
  Set download  and upload speed. The input is in kilobits/second but you can also see the value in mbps shown below the input field. 
• Use global limit as bandwidth limiter for all users
  Check the box to enable.
  If enabled, there is no bandwidth limit per user. Instead, the users will share the global bandwidth limit of the machine.
• Global Bandwidth Limit for Captive Portal
  This is where you can set the global bandwidth of the captive portal. All devices connected to this specific captive portal share the total/global bandwidth limit. 

As the number of users increases, so does the bandwidth consumed by the machine. You can limit the maximum bandwidth consumption of the machine using the global limit option. When the bandwidth consumption reaches the global limit, the bandwidth per user will be adjusted automatically to share the global bandwidth allocation.
